Serving Others


The unselfishness of these men as we have come to know them the entire absence of profit motive, and their community spirit, is indeed inspiring to one who has labored long and wearily in this alcoholic field.  They believe in themselves, and still more in the Power which pulls chronic alcoholics back from the gates of death.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interest but also for the interests of others.

Thank you, Lord for this day.  Thank you, for the opportunity to give back freely what you have given to me.  I pray for divine direction and divine connections today, Father.  Show me how I can serve your kingdom today.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
