The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger, I trust in him with all my heart.  He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.  I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Psalm 28:7  NLT

Lord, I thank you for being my strength and shield.   Thank you for helping to still my mind in times of distress.  I will fix my thoughts on what is true and honorable and right.  Thank you for the grace to think about things that are pure and lovely and  worthy of praise according to your word.

  In Jesus Name, I pray.

  (Phillipians 4:8)
