God either is or He isn’t?

When we became alcoholics, crushed by a self-imposed crisis we could not postpone or evade, we had to fearlessly face the proposition that either God is everything or else He is nothing. God either is or He isn’t. What was our choice to be? Arrived at this point, we were squarely confronted with the question of faith. We couldn’t duck the issue.     Alcoholics Anonymous pg 53

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.               John 3:17-18 NIV

I thank you Father for this day.  I believe you are God and I believe in your son Jesus.  Thank you for loving me when I was in rebellion towards you.  Thank you for your kindness and mercy.  Help me today to live in a way that is pleasing in your sight.  Change my desires and align them with your plan for my life.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
