For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11

Father God, thank you for this day. I thank you that your are able to do super abundantly above all that I could ask or think. I thank you that as I pray and seek you with all my heart that you listen to me and hear my prayers. I pray Father that I will know you better today and do those things that are pleasing in your sight. Thank you for supplying all my needs according to your riches and glory by Christ Jesus. Thank you for filling my cup to overflowing that my overflow will be a blessing to others. In Jesus Name, Amen.

One response to “God Could and Would

  1. It is funny how even though I spent most of my adult life in church, it wasnt until I crashed, burned, and began to recover that I rediscovered God as I understan Him, God of the Bible, Jesus Christ.

The Bible sprang to life. Tired old passages of scripture suddenly had genuine meaning and I found how to rely on them.

The church culture that I can now see filtered my experience with God faded and I began to get to know him in a new and tangible way. Well-meaning Christian leaders tried their best to convey their interpretation of who God was. I don’t connect to these interpretations anymore.

I experience God in such a different way than before. Far less complicated and cluttered with conflicting theologies of men. Not that their wrong, just that they are not relevant to me today.

God is amazing. The Bible proves itself to me to be true. Jesus was who he said he was.
