Poison Control: Anger

If we were to live, we had to be free of anger. The grouch and the brainstorm were not for us. They may be the dubious luxury of normal men, but for alcoholics these things are poison.    Alcoholics Anonymous pg 66

And “don’t sin by letting anger gain control over you. “Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a mighty foothold to the Devil.        Eph 4:26-27 NLT

Lord, you are the bread of life.  Father, I ask that you save me from being angry. I ask that your Holy Spirit will comfort my emotions and help me to be slow to wrath.  I pray that I will pause before speaking and allow you time to work in my behalf.  You are so Holy and worthy to be praised. In Jesus Name, Amen.

  1. I like-

Don’t be quick to get angry, because anger is typical to fools.

Alcoholics don’t like to be fools! 🙂
