The fact is that most alcoholics, for reasons yet obscure, have lost the power of choice in drink. Our so called will power becomes practically nonexistent. Alcoholics Anonymous pg 24
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! Choose to love the LORD your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NLT
Lord, I thank you today that I have a choice. I thank you for the life you’ve given me by accepting Jesus as my Savior. I will rejoice and be glad in this day. Today I choose life and blessings. Thank you for your love. I pray that I will continue to walk in obedience to your word. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
